An open letter initiated by Michael Lavalette to oppose the expulsion of Socialist Workers Party members from Your Party
We condemn the decision to expel Lewis Nielsen, Hector Sierra, Samira Ali and others from Your Party.
They have been expelled for being members of the Socialist Workers Party.
This outrageous, undemocratic decision about who can be a Your Party member has been made without any consultation of the Your Party membership. It has been made before members even got a chance to vote, and is the latest in a long line of undemocratic decisions made by those running Your Party.
We demand this decision is overturned. Your Party can, and needs to be, a party that unites the left to become the insurgent force we need to stop Farage and fight Starmer.
