ONLINE | Race & class: Why there is no hierarchy of oppression
Debate continues to rage as to the nature of racism and how best to challenge it. The idea that there is a hierarchy of racism or oppression more widely has surfaced in the Labour Party – most predominantly as a charge levelled against the Labour right in the Forde report.
Kevin Ovenden, who wrote an excellent analysis of the recent suspension of Diane Abbott and the arguments made in her letter, will be discussing some of the theoretical debates on Zoom on Tuesday 23 May at 6:30pm.
This will be a useful and timely discussion. Please register on Zoom now and share widely.
