Manchester – Unite Kimpton Clocktower Hotel strike

Workers at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel and its restaurant, The Refuge, in Manchester are on strike over the hotel’s refusal to recognise the union Unite. Also alleged union-busting, and the victimisation of union representatives. The hotel workers say they are striking to secure formal union recognition and improve pay and conditions.
