clipUnionNews reports from Southampton, where the local authority employers and unions are due to begin talks next week (beginning 10th October) to try to resolve the dispute over the council’s cuts to services and the pay of thousands of staff.

The wave of industrial action began in May and Thursday (6th October) saw the biggest all-out strike so far by UNISON and Unite members.
