This weekend’s Revolution! event will be opened on Saturday with a plenary on gangster imperialism and the collapse of the world order
The ceasefire in Iran will bring welcome respite to the Iranian people. But yesterday Trump threatened to kill ‘an entire civilisation’. Despite the ceasefire, Israel has escalated its bombardment of Lebanon. We can be sure that this will not be the end of the west’s criminal assault on the Middle East.
This weekend’s Revolution! event‘s opening plenary, Gangster imperialism and the collapse of the world order, features Iranian academic and writer Eskandar Sadeghi-Boroujerdi, Chris Nineham from Stop the War, Fran Heathcote, General Secretary of PCS and Feyzi Ismail, lecturer at Goldsmiths University.
There will also be sessions setting out the approach for anti-imperialists, a look back at the lessons from Vietnam, and connecting the dots with authoritarianism, labour movement struggle, fighting fascism and more. The full weekend’s timetable is below.
