Activities in Greece on September 29
There is a one day strike in the hospitals and the Main Telecommunications company (OTE) formerly public. There is a national four hour stoppage in the trains and in Athens 4 hours stoppage in the rest of the public transport. The Public sector unions (ADEDY) will have a one day strike on the 7th of November, pending their State Court hearing, this is why they will finally not have a stoppage on the 29th.
There will be demonstrations organised by the Private and Public Sector trades unions in the afternoon in Athens, and in Thessaloniki organised by the Trades Council of the City. Demonstrations and activities in several smaller cities.
