NEU nationally – Strikes and pickets galore and more!

NEU Brent members on the picket Monday 29 June

There are many local NEU strikes across the country and possibly something near to where you live. Join a picket where you can. Below are just a few of the disputes but there are many more. 

Rushey Green Primary School, striking over workplace bullying, union victimisation, unacceptable workload and management style. Strike dates: 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 July. Picket lines from 7.30am.

Woodfields School, Brent, striking against fire and rehire of support staff. Strike dates: 29, 30 June; 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17 July. Picket lines from 7.30am.

Learning Partnership West (LPW), Bristol striking for consistent pay scales, contractual parity, safer worksite and union recognition. Strike dates: from 7 July.

Brick Lane School, Tower Hamlets & The City, striking for fair pay and improved conditions. Strike dates: 30 June to 2 July, 7 to 9 July.

Royal Alexandra and Albert School, Surrey striking over redundancies and changes to terms and conditions.

Forest Fields Primary and Nursery School, Nottingham striking over workload, safety concerns, unreasonable management and breakdown in industrial relations. Strike dates: from 29 June.

Dixons Allerton Academy, striking over planned redundancies, cuts to support staff hours, and excessive class sizes (40-50 pupils, with groups of up to 120).
