Last minute preparations for the March 26 protest - Hundreds of thousands will demonstrate in Central London this Saturday against the Con-Dem cuts and in defence of the welfare state.
It’s set to be one of the biggest demonstrations in British history.
The size of the demo is only restricted by how many people know about it, so let’s make sure we go all out in the last 3 days to get as many people as possible out on the streets.
If you want publicity for the demonstration you can pick up leaflets and posters from our office at Housmans bookshop, 5 Caledonian Road, Kings Cross, London N1.
Tomorrow is the last day we can send leaflets across the country, phone Andrew if you want some on 07939242229.
Join the Coalition of Resistance team on March 26 - More volunteers needed
Coalition of Resistance is producing thousands of placards and a 4 page broadsheet to give out for free on the demonstration. We need hundreds of people to help on the day please ask friends, workmates, family if they can help too.
We will have two main meet up points at 9am - Embankment Tube and Temple Tube.
If you can help please phone / text Sam on 07872481769 or email [email protected]
Volunteers will receive a free T-Shirt and we have hired a pub function room for after the demo where volunteers will get a free drink as a thank you for helping.
We also need help everyday this week in our office and making placards. Get in touch if you can help.
Coalition of Resistance Broadsheet
The Coalition of Resistance broadsheet leads with Tony Benn, Caroline Lucas and Len McKlusky and puts a clear argument that the ConDem’s attack is an attack on working people and the welfare state and argues for no cuts.
We are sending copies of the broadsheet across the country tomorrow so people can hand them out on the transport down to London. If you would like us to send you some please phone Neil on 07974679805.
