Camden – Unison Primrose Hill Teaching Assistants strike

Teaching Assistants at Primrose Hill have picked up the baton and start 4 days of strike action on Tuesday, including being out on 1 May.

Like TAs at the nearby Richard Cobden school, it’s about being paid properly for the work they do. This means they should be regraded. They are essential workers, making sure children get all the support they need to learn.

Yet they are amongst the lowest paid Council workers. Enough is enough, and with a 67% ballot turnout and 100% vote to strike, they can’t wait to join the fight for decent pay.
