			<description><![CDATA[Coming from a mining background and seeing first hand the negative environmental costs on the environment and miners (and their families) health, I can happily call to an end to coal mining, there needs to be investment in the communities to move them away from a traditional mining mentality but still keep the benefits of the local community. The subsidies should be being spent on better less environmentally destructive forms of energy creation such as solar. We should be campaigning for an end to mining not supporting a highly polluting and unhealthy industry. Jobs by all means but not jobs which effectively ensure those workers an early grave.]]></description>
